Multiple RD Property Damage

The Question

  • Couple cars shot up on the same bl​ock, same ShotSpotter event. How many RD's for each car/victim?

Comments

  • Just like person shot scenario with multiple vehicles damaged during the event, there is only one RD# with multiple IUCR's. In this case the IUCR would 041R (most serious) and 1320.
  • Why we do not use multiple RD's in this situation:
    • This event occurred at the same time, where the person and vehicle was damaged during the same event. We are assuming the offender did not shoot the person, then a short time later came back and shot up the car.
